Dwelling Contractor Continuing Education (2 Hour)

This Continuing Education Course is a two hour series of instruction designed to help meet the education requirements for maintaining and renewing a Dwelling Contractor license. This course is primarily focused on the construction of a structure's exterior shell.

The first segment of the course introduces the concept of the exterior shell and examines its purpose.

The second segment discusses the components of the building envelope, moisture intrusion, and what happens if the building envelope fails.

The third segment talks about the actual construction of the building envelope.

The final segment examines the Right to Cure Law and other remedies that can be used to resolve disputes between contractors and consumers.
